Are you passionate about people, policies, and creating a positive workplace culture? We’re seeking a dynamic Human Resources Officer to join our team and play a crucial role in shaping our organisation’s success by working with our most important asset – our people! In this role you will be responsible for the HR service at Dinnington High School but work as part of a wider HR team, creating the perfect balance of autonomy and support.
As a HR generalist you will provide a comprehensive range of HR support, taking a lead on HR work and employee relations matters for Dinnington High School. You will undertake work in areas such as new starter processes, contracts, use of HR software to maintain staff records and employment relations matters (sickness absence, flexible working requests, disciplinary and grievance cases etc). You will also have the opportunity to develop your expertise by shaping our whole-Trust approach and processes in key areas such as Equality and Diversity.
This would be an ideal opportunity for someone currently working as a HR Officer or someone with a proven track record in HR administration who is looking for their next step. However previous HR experience is not essential. For a candidate with the right skills and qualities, full training is available. You will receive advice and support from the HR Manager and Chief of People Operations as well as the wider Trust HR team, such as the HR Officers for our other schools. NCLT is committed to the professional development of staff and would be willing to fully fund the appropriate CIPD qualification for the successful candidate if desired.
To be successful in this role you will have excellent attention to detail and organisational skills, be personable, self-motivated and professional with good communication skills, be able to work flexibly under pressure, balancing changing priorities and be willing to under take further training relevant to the role.
