We are currently seeking to appoint a talented and enthusiastic Science Technician to support the smooth running of science teaching. You will have the opportunity to work as part of a small team, across all sciences, in a role which will allow you to showcase your attention to detail, organisational skills and adaptability. You will help provide our students with the opportunity to deepen their learning and develop their scientific interest and practical skills. You will be responsible for preparing equipment and laboratories for practical classes, assisting with demonstrations and maintaining equipment and resources.
Although we have a full-time vacancy available (37 hours per week), we are happy to consider applicants looking for a part-time role and flexibility around working patterns can be discussed at interview. Please indicate on your application the number of hours you would be interested in.

You should have previous practical experience however you do not need to have previously held a school/college science technician role to be considered for this post. The college can provide funding for external training courses, such as those run by CLEAPSS to support your professional development.
