We are seeking a Finance Officer to work with the Secondary Trust Finance Team to provide a comprehensive range of financial support, administration and advice across the Trust. The post holder will closely support the Trust Finance Manager on higher level financial tasks including management account preparation and quality control of financial data.
The successful candidate will have, or be willing to work towards, a finance qualification (e.g. AAT). They should have strong numeracy skills, excellent attention to detail and a comprehensive knowledge of monthly financial administration and integrated financial accounting systems. You should have a willingness to work flexibly within the team and have strong organisational and time management skills. A knowledge of financial and accounting policy and regulations such as VAT and HMRC is essential.
In return, NCLT will support you in the advancement of your finance career, including providing funded Continuing Professional Development (such as the AAT qualifications) and the opportunity for progression as the role develops.

You will be joining a dynamic, core team that supports the operations of all of the schools and colleges within our Trust.
