Salary: Leadership Pay Scale L18 – L22 (£71,729 - £79,112) A recruitment and retention allowance may be available for an outstanding candidate.

We are currently seeking a dynamic, hardworking and dedicated Deputy Headteacher. We are looking for someone who will be passionate and committed to improving the opportunities, educational outcomes and life chances for all pupils. The successful candidate will work closely with the Headteacher to develop a high-quality education and pastoral provision for all pupils. We are ambitious for Wingfield Academy pupils and seek a Deputy Headteacher who can help to further shape and implement our vision. This post would be ideal for a current senior leader with a breadth of experience ready for the next step.

The successful candidate will have a substantial and successful experience of senior leadership in the secondary sector, a track record of improving leadership, raising standards and delivering educational excellence.

Wingfield Academy has become an oversubscribed and high performing secondary school, placing it as one of the highest performing schools in Rotherham and in the top 7% nationally for progress.  Wingfield has also been named a national lead school as part of the DFE’s behaviour hub programme.
