Salary: NSP 1-9 (£25,260 – £41,226) depending on experience. Actual salary £20,423 – £33,331 (pay award pending)
A recruitment and retention allowance may be offered for an outstanding candidate.

Contract Term: Temporary – maternity cover from 26 August 2021 until approximately 8 July 2022

We are seeking to appoint a talented and enthusiastic teacher to teach A Level and BTEC Psychology and Criminology. The successful candidate will be an inspirational teacher, able to demonstrate a passion for your subject area and the ability to engage and motivate students of all abilities in the 16-19 age range. With a demonstrable record of good or outstanding results, you will have a commitment to raising aspirations and achievement and supporting the wider college community. If you are currently undertaking initial teacher training you will have demonstrated outstanding potential and aptitude for post-16 teaching.
New College Bradford, which opened in September 2019, is a 16-19 free school with 1200 students on roll. The college sits within the New Collaborative Learning Trust, a multi-academy trust established by New College Pontefract (an Ofsted outstanding provider).
