Salary: NSP 1-9 (£25,570 – £41,732) depending on experience.

A recruitment and retention allowance may be offered for an outstanding candidate.

An Exciting Opportunity to Join a Dynamic New Team!

We are seeking to appoint a talented and enthusiastic teacher to teach on BTEC Health and Social Care.  The successful candidate will be an inspirational teacher, able to demonstrate a passion for the subject area and the ability to engage and motivate students of all abilities in the 16-19 age range. The successful candidate will have experience teaching and assessing on Btec Health and Social Care, including the regulated qualification framework. It would be advantageous if the candidate has vocational and/or industrial experience in the allied health sector.  With a demonstrable record of good or outstanding results, you will have a commitment to raising aspirations and achievement and supporting the wider college community. If you are currently undertaking initial teacher training you will have demonstrated outstanding potential and aptitude for post-16 teaching. The successful post holder will also be required to travel and visit students on work placement, so a clean driver’s licence is essential, or must be prepared to travel to assess students.

New College Bradford, which opened in September 2019, is a 16-19 free school with 1200 students on roll. The college sits within the New Collaborative Learning Trust, a multi-academy trust established by New College Pontefract (an Ofsted outstanding provider).
