An exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of our organisational development

We are seeking to appoint an exceptional teacher to join our School of Sport, Health, Care and Services.  Teaching primarily BTEC Public Services, the ability to also teach A Level PE and/or BTEC Sport would be advantageous but not essential.  The successful candidate will be an inspirational teacher, able to demonstrate a passion for their subject area and the ability to engage and motivate students of all abilities in the 16-19 range.  With a demonstrable record of good or outstanding results, you will have a commitment to raising aspirations and supporting the wider college community.  If you are currently undertaking initial teacher training you will have demonstrated outstanding potential and aptitude for post-16 teaching.

New College Doncaster opened in September with over 450 Year 12 students and grew to over 950 students in September 2018.  This is an exciting new venture, creating a sister college to the well-established New College Pontefract, rated ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted, replicating its ethos, values and practices.  The two colleges work closely, presenting exciting opportunities for collaboration, support, development and progression.

Working in a new campus, you will join a focused and driven team, committed to providing the highest standards of education for young people, in a challenging but supportive learning environment. New College Doncaster primarily delivers A Levels, alongside a number of Level 3 BTEC qualifications.

If you believe that you have the skills and abilities to take on this role, we’d love to hear from you.
