Salary: Band J of the NCLT Support Staff Spine, £31,363 – £33,933 depending on experience.
A recruitment and retention allowance may be offered for an outstanding candidate

The Trust Senior HR Officer will work as part of the Human Resources Team in order to provide a high quality, efficient, effective and supportive HR service for all academies within the Trust. Based primarily at our Pontefract site, you will also have the flexibility and means to travel to other sites within the Trust as the need arises, therefore a willingness to work flexibly within the team is essential.
The successful candidate will work closely with another Senior HR Officer and the HR Director on higher-level tasks, including policy development, HR processes, legal advice, systems and quality assurance; as well as supporting HR Officers with day-to-day employee relations matters and HR tasks.
This post will lead on a range of HR processes and case management, including sickness absence, consultations, disciplinary and grievance and the successful candidate should have significant practical experience in these areas. The role will also entail providing advice and guidance on school terms and conditions and so previous experience in this field would be advantageous, though not essential.
