Salary: Band E of the NCLT Support Staff Scale, FTE salary £18,720 – £20,390

Actual salary £14,740 – £16,055 depending on experience.

A recruitment and retention allowance may be offered for an outstanding candidate.

Contract Type: 34.5 hours per week (8am – 3.30pm, 3pm on a Friday), Term Time Only (38 weeks)

Contract Term: Permanent

Start Date: 27 August 2019

We are seeking to appoint a talented and enthusiastic Science Technician to support the smooth running of teaching across all our science courses (A Level Physics, Chemistry, Biology and BTEC Science).  Responsible for preparing equipment and laboratories for practical classes, assisting with demonstrations and maintaining equipment and resources, the successful candidate must have an understanding of one or more of the above subjects to A Level standard as well as previous practical experience.
