An Exciting Opportunity to Join an Outstanding Team!

We are looking to appoint a Cleaning Assistant to provide a high standard of cleaning service to the College, according to the cleaning specification provided.  Working as part of our broader Estates Team, you will be key to ensuring the Pontefract site is clean, tidy and safe at all times.  Able to work both independently and as part of a team, the successful candidate should have the physical ability to cope with the requirements of the job and a customer care approach to their work.

New College is an outstanding place to work and study, regularly near the top of UK Sixth Form College results tables and awarded outstanding in all areas by Ofsted.  With a dynamic, positive and supportive culture for staff and students, we have an enviable reputation for staff career progression and development.  With over 2500 students, New College Pontefract is the founding member of the New Collaborative Learning Trust (NCLT).  New College Pontefract, New College Doncaster and New College Bradford work closely together, presenting exciting opportunities for collaboration, support, development and progression.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious candidate to join our dynamic team at the forefront of change and to make a real difference to raising standards of education in the local community.  New College Pontefract delivers primarily A Level provision, alongside a number of Level 3 BTEC qualifications and some Level 2 provision.

If you believe that you have the skills and abilities to take on this role, we’d love to hear from you.
